FRESH, HOME-COOKED FOOD

Good old-fashioned home cooking is essential to us at Fairholme House. Good food is essential for health and happiness, which is why we work closely with our suppliers to ensure that every meal is delicious and healthy.

Everything is made on-site, and our chef creates a wonderful seasonal menu each week, working with our residents to find out what they want to eat.

This means we can accommodate special dietary needs and include them into each resident’s personal care plan because all meals are prepared in our kitchen.

Each meal is served in a relaxed, communal setting

very much like a restaurant, with a wide range of choices. Many residents prefer to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner together, although they are also allowed to eat in their rooms if they would like. Dining with residents is always a pleasure, and guests are always welcome.

Breakfast is served from 6 am to 9:30 am in the rooms of residents. We provide coffee and cookies in the morning, followed by a three-course meal in the dining room.

Tea and homemade pastries are served in the dining room at 4 p.m, followed by a three-course meal and coffee or tea in the lounges, with late-night beverages available as needed.
